Important changes to your TAB Account - FAQs

Due to changes in legislation, we’re changing a few things with your TAB account.

These changes are occurring to be more in line with the Commonwealth and state and territory governments newly launched National Consumer Protection Framework for Online Wagering in Australia, which will provide stronger consumer protections for Australians gambling online.

Changes to Shared TAB and The Lott Accounts

If you have a TAB and The Lott accounts, they will no longer be shared.

Q. What changes are happening to my shared TAB and The Lott accounts?

As of 21st of May 2019, you will no longer be able to share your deposits and winnings between TAB and The Lott.

All new deposits made into your TAB account can only be used with TAB and all new deposits made into your The Lott account can only be used with The Lott.

The same will apply for prize wins with The Lott or wins in your TAB account. i.e. lottery prizes may only be withdrawn or used to purchase lottery tickets from The Lott and wins in your TAB account may only be withdrawn or used in your TAB account.

Q. When is this change happening?

The changes are happening on 21st of May 2019.

Q. Will my account number or login details change for my TAB and Lott accounts? 

No, all of your TAB & The Lott account details will remain the same, you can continue to use the same login details across both accounts.

Changes to TAB Payment Methods

BPAY

We are changing our BPAY biller code for TAB from the 21 May 2019. Please update your BPAY biller code in your online banking account to Biller Code: 7070. Your BPAY reference number will be your TAB Account ID Number.

Direct Deposits

Direct deposits will no longer be accepted to make payments into your TAB account.

Q. I made a deposit using the old BPAY biller code prior to 21st of May, what will happen to my deposit?

BPAY payments are subject to usual bank clearance timeframes (usually 1-3 working days).

In the event that you're still unsure why you can't see the funds in your account - we recommend to Call our Customer Contact Centre on 1800 823 888 or email support@tab.ubet.com. Our representatives will be able to quickly discover and advise on the status of your deposit.

For future deposits in to your TAB account using BPAY, Please update your BPAY biller code in your online banking account to Biller Code: 7070. Your BPAY reference number will be your TAB Account ID Number.
