What is Head to Head?

With a Head to Head bet type, you can select who you think will win a designated match. Variations occur in different sports about whether extra time is included and the payout options in the event of a draw

The following table provides a description of Head to Head as it is used in each sport.

Sport

Description

AFL

Bet on who will win the match. Dead heat rule applies in the event of a draw, i.e. 50% of the dividend is paid.

American Football

Bet on who will win the match. Dead heat rule applies in the event of a draw, i.e. 50% of the dividend is paid.

Baseball

Bet on who will win the match. Extra time included.

Basketball

Bet on who will win the match. Extra time included. If a draw, full refund of the bet amount.

Cricket

Bet on who will win the match. Dead heat rule applies in the event of a tie, i.e. 50% of the dividend is paid. Dead heat rule does not apply in the event of Test Cricket as a Draw option is available

Ice Hockey

Bet on who will win the match. Extra time included.

Netball

Bet on who will win the match. Extra time included. Dead heat rule applies.

Rugby League

Bet on who will win the match. Extra time included. Dead heat rule applies in the event of a draw, i.e. 50% of the dividend is paid.

Rugby Union

Bet on who will win the match. Extra time included. Dead heat rule applies in the event of a draw, i.e. 50% of the dividend is paid.

Tennis

Bet on who will win the match. No draw possible.

Looking for Soccer? Because of the likelihood of draws in Soccer, the Result bet type is used in substitution of Head to Head markets.
