I'm no longer being asked my CVV when making a deposit. Is this safe?
Security is a top priority for TAB and we are continually making updates and improvements to our processes and systems.
The processes around checking and verifying CVV's is one of these improvements and going forward the CVV will be only be asked for and verified when a card is added to an account. Once this has been done and verified, it is not necessary to check the CVV again when the card is used to make a deposit.
When any card is used, a check is performed with the bank to make sure it is not reported as ‘lost or stolen’ - so you details are still safe.
